National Student Survey is an annual survey, launched in 2005, of all final year undergraduate degree students at institutions in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. NSS is conducted by Ipsos MORI on behalf of the UK higher education funding bodies.
I won the competition, resulting in my poster design being displayed throughout higher education institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The brief asked me to create a poster to encourage students to take part in the survey. It needed to appeal to that younger audience and get the message across bold and clear. The design process started with analysing past poster designs and the NSS branding and marketing itself. The goal was to create a simple poster with a loud message.I selected a bright, bold and contemporary colour scheme and created speech bubble shapes.
